I don't think Doodle Kisses permits these sort of requests.

According to the Community Guidelines :

"Breeders may only advertise dogs or puppies for sale in either the "Labradoodles for Sale" group or the "Goldendoodle for Sale" group -- instructions on ad guidelines are listed in those groups and must be followed. Breeders may also advertise breeder-related matters in the Breedersgroup freely. If you are a breeder, please keep breeding related discussions (finding studs, heat cycles, trouble with dam's pregnancy, trouble finding clients, etc) confined to the Breedersgroup.

Doodle owners seeking a breeding mate for their dog should do so elsewhere.  We recommend finding a breeder mentor with which to discuss breeding plans.  But such inquiries may not be made on DoodleKisses.com."

Hi Paulo,

Doodle owners seeking a breeding mate for their dog should do so elsewhere.  We recommend finding a breeder mentor with which to discuss breeding plans.  But such inquiries may not be made on DoodleKisses.com.

Please read more on this : http://www.doodlekisses.com/notes/Community_Guidelines

I do hope your post stays.  There is SO MUCH a person needs to be responsible for when breeding thier dog.  I know, we have a lot of information and opinions for you to become the BEST BREEDER and not a breeder who is just breeding for breeding.

I have to agree with Jared. Please read through this section on "How to Select a Breeder" and consider how your breeding program would hold up to it.

before you even start looking for a mate for Luna you need to ask yourself some questions

Has Luna been health tested? Does she come from heath tested parents, grand parents, great grandparents etc?

Do you have the money to pay for expenses such as an emergency c-section?

What would you do if there were complications and Lunas life was in danger?

What would you do if there was a problem with a puppy (such as a cleft palate ?)

Can you pay for the regular costs of breeding - whelping box, shots, high end food for many mouths, lots of toys and chews?

Do you have the time to really socialize each and every pup, start potty and crate training them all?

Are you prepared for little to no sleep?

Are you prepared to clean up after so many dogs?

Do you have the expertise to match a puppys personality with the personalities of a family?

What would you do if you cant sell all puppies?

Would you be prepared to take a dog back at any stage in its life for whatever reason?

Do you know how to screen possible families to make sure they go to the best homes?

Will you do early spay and neuter before the puppies go to their forever homes or will you have spay/neuter contract?

Are you prepared to offer health guarantees for 2 years?

What requirements will you ask for from a stud dog? (parentage, family history, heath testing, personality, coat type, colour/genes they carry)

is Luna a small dog? What if she has some very large puppies (the size of a golden retriever) if she is small?

and im sure theres lots more to consider

Be aware also that two goldendoodles can have a pup that is a "throwback" to a poodle or a retriever. My LD was bred by my breeder to another LD and one pup was Very labby--you can see her on my blog.

But i think you need to follow all the good advice you have gotten here and go to the breeders' group.

Considering the amount of goldendoodles that are posted on our main discussion board looking for new homes from craigslist and other sites, I'm wondering if this particular discussion should be closed???
