I love to see other parts of the world but have no funds to travel right now. I'd love to see where you guys walk your doodles. That way I can live vicariously. Post a photo in the comments, it would be nice but not necessary if your doodle was in the photo. You can share as much as you feel comfortable about the location.

Here's one of my favorite trails. It is in NY state a little bit north of NYC. It is a narrow trail that runs along the Hudson River with the Palisades cliffs right next to the path. So pretty, so quiet. This path can get really crowded. I usually prefer to walk alone in the middle of the woods. I may have to try to get a photo on one of our usual desolate hikes.

That is me and my doggy. Notice the loose leash??? It's a work in progress. :)

So where do you walk your doodle?

thanks!

Hi Sally,

I've done a number of the Hike and Hounds Outdoorbound trips.  They are a lot of fun.  The first one I did was 8 miles but most of the others have been a little shorter.  I even did their trip Kayak with your dog last summer.  Maybe Lola and I will see you on one of them soon.

There is an off leash dog park we love taking Darwin to. It's kind of a small hike/ nature walk and the dogs are spaced out so it's perfect!

In the winter:

And summer

What a lovely place.

Camilla, looks like a scene in a Disney Movie - Daisy would love it there as well.

Okay, I am officially jealous.  To get to anyplace we can take the boys for a scenic walk we have nearly an hour drive so we don't end up going very often.  I think our guys would feel deprived if they saw these pictures - our walks yesterday consisted of sidewalks, boring houses with dogs in the yards and a few squirrels.

Don't under rate the squirrel factor!

I'm jealous, too. The forest preserve parks are 45 minutes away, so on our walks we are mostly surrounded by sidewalks, houses, and dogs in yards, too. Although it's an old neighborhood and there are lots of gardens, flowering trees & shrubs, etc. everywhere, so not so bad.

Yep...me too. Even though we live in FL alot of the beaches near me don't even allow dogs on them anymore because of the irresponsible owners that have ruined it for everyone else...

We enjoy taking Bentley hiking to this great waterfall.  When it's not busy, we let him frolick in the water which he loves.

Lovely waterfall.

How nice!
