I once posted about my leash & collar obsession - Rooney & Stuart have matching leashes and collars for every holiday and various themes and since that time I have added to the collection.  So yesterday I decided to clean out a few drawers and little storage boxes and I came across my finger nail polish collection.  I decided I should go through it and get rid of the old stuff, colors I don't wear any longer, etc.  I remember doing this about 6 months ago - so how come I still have so many bottles?  Do I have a problem?  It got me to thinking - what other things do I have to excess?  Hmmm - my hotel card-key collection?  My cookbooks?  Lipstick?  So confess tell me what you have too much of and post a photo!

I wish I collected something cute to share.  Sadly all I have too much of is dust, clutter, and kids toys strewn about the house.  Photos will not be shared =)

LOL Adina - I was once a young mother - I collected dirty laundry and diapers!!!!  This too shall pass - all too quickly.

LOL, I'm with you Adina! The only difference is ours are Doodle toys and not Kids' toys!

I share your pain. I have too much of everything since I have reached the divesting stage. Right now the thing I way too much of is weeds, though.

Somehow I don't think this is what you had in mind but my freezer is not photogenic : )

Weeds cannot count as collectibles, F, or I'm in deep kimchi.

F it would depend on WHAT is in the freezer!!!

Only food ranging in age to back when. Mine is and "in" freezer but rarely an "out". I have forbidden my purchase of frozen food or making batches of food until the clean up and toss happens.

oh Im with you, I have way too many books, they are double and triple stacked on my bookcase

I have bookshelves in four rooms and books in my bedroom. Occasionally I'll look at a garden reference but otherwise they sit. Books I've read, meant to read, that people have left, from college and graduate studies, a few from my parents and books that seem to have just grown where they are. I am beginning to think my sons will have a huge job one day, but then the house will be worth something : )

Books are a weakness for me.  I donated my of mine when I moved to Florida and got an e-reader thinking that would solve my problem.  The Nook is just o.k. - I love the feel of a book in my hand and now they are repopulating.

I know what you mean, Jane. I have to hold the "real" book in my hand and turn the pages. There will never be an e-reader in my life.
