Many thanks to both Karen and Elizabeth. One of my professors in graduate school, and a committee member of mine, was a lipids fanatic, loved flaxseed for humans and was always talking about DHA! So, your discussion to me back to those days! I guess I'll go ahead and order the natures select hi-protein formula to start with and then switch as soon as it's approachable. There are several stores close to our place that are selling TOTW, but I couldn't find any information about the Orijen foods nearby! I'll give it some more consideration and do some more research as it sounds like a good recommendation is to give at least couple weeks on the current food. Thanks for all the feedback!

There are lots of discussions here about Life's Abundance. We do not recommend it, mainly because it is sold through a pyramid marketing scheme. It is a just okay food with a ridiculous price, due to all of the multi-level commissions you pay, and there is no transparency regarding the source of the ingredients or the manufacturing process. And there is no variety in the line. You can do much better, for much less money.

I had not heard of it before. Assuming that the ingredients are not imported (and that's a big assumption), it looks fine to me. The grain-free formulas are MUCH better than the others.
