hey guys! im just curious.. my goldendoodle is 19 weeks and he is 40 lbs... im scared i bought a polar bear! lol... his paws are huge and people cant believe he is that young.. he is a standard type..but i met another goldendoodle today and he was 4 months and he was only 20 lbs and was also a standard!! so what did ur goldendoodle weigh at this age?? and what does ur goldendoodle weigh now?? xoxo

He is so cute. The rule of thumb is the 16 week weight, doubled, +\- 10 pds either. My two followed this formula perfectly. They were both about 28 -29 pds at 16 weeks. They are both 59-62 pds depending on the day or time of year I weigh them. Bella was 46 pds at 24 weeks, but I don't have either ones weight at 19 weeks off the top of my head. I only know Bella's cuz its on my page here on DK. I would guess he was around 32-36 pds at 16 weeks so you are probably going to have roughly a 65-75 pd doodle. That's my best guess. But with the formula 54-82 is # possible. is your dogs name Claudio?

I have a phantom F1b goldendoodle and he weighs about 90 lbs.  He is tall and lanky - 30 inches tall, and usually the largest dog in any group.  I love big doodles as long as you have a home and car that can handle them.  When we have three dogs in the back of the car it is pretty crowded, but two fit fine.  Our two boys just love to travel and we plan a trip to Arizona in November when it cools down a little.

One of our favorite stories is when we were walking the dogs in San Juan Bautista (near here) a lady passed us in her big SUV and flipped around and came back by and asked us, "Is that some type of poodle?"  We told her it was a goldendoodle and she was very impressed with his size.  It's kind of a joke to us.  We ask each other all the time, "Is that some kind of poodle?"

Bailey weighed 28lbs at 20 weeks. She is a standard and now weighs 59lbs at 15 months

Darwin was 25lbs at 16 weeks (I think) and is now 65lbs. I think you will have a big pup, more to love. :-)
