Is my doodle done growing?

Hello,
My love is now a little over nine months. She hasn't gained any weight for almost 3 months. She is a standard f1 goldendoodle. Her parents were 55lbs and 60lbs. She is a whopping 35lbs. The vet said she thinks she is done growing. She said she is in great shape and health. We feed her good food, twice a day with sparse treats. She is very active. I love her size don't get me wrong but I am just curious, do they typically have a growth spurt this late in age? When she was 4 months old I used the common rule of thumb and she was going to be about 55lbs. But after she was neutered at 5 months she only gained a few pounds then stopped.

huh! I have never heard of that rule not working--she was 28 pounds at four months and is now 35 pounds? I guess she fooled the experts! Sometimes they can get all the small genes from both parents' ancestors and end up smaller than both parents--not common, but it happens!

Yes, she sounds great--I have two doodles that are just about 40 pounds and I love the size--my third one is 53 pounds and she is great, but a big dog!

The smaller doodles don't follow that 4 month guideline and they stop growing much earlier.

I will bet she has another five pounds in her.  Regardless, cute as a button!

my cooper stopped growing around 9 months,(50lbs)  then had a  growth spurt once she was just over a year and put on 10lbs. (60lbs) she is now 3 and just put on another 10 lbs (she finally filled out a bit and is no longer super skinny!) (70lbs)

Darwin didn't grow much after 9 months, just very slight gradual growth that stopped when he was about 1 1/2 years.

My Ellie is an F1 Goldendoodle that is 23 months now. She just topped off at about 73 pounds. Her mom was 85 pounds and her dad was 67 pounds. It took her 2 years to fill out. I also think you will see about another 10 pounds!! They are Wonderful no matter what size they are!!!! :)
