There are some safe jerky options out there: Trader's Joe's, True Chews, and Healthy Partner are three brands that are safe. And of course, a lot of people are making their own jerky. Lots of info and recipes on that in TFG, too.

I bought the Blue Buff wilderness formula today. Mixing about half in half. So far - so good. I made some vanilla yogurt and peanut butter treats she loves AND I know what's in them! Cross your fingers for me that we have no poopy problems with the new food! Thanks!!!

Hey. I can't figure out how to join a group. Sorry. I have switched Chloe to BB, feeding about 25% BB with her old food. Purina Pro. Her poop is like soft serve ice cream. When do I increase food percentage and when will poop go back to normal? Any help greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Jane, Making treats yourself is SO easy and you can feed with confidence that the ingredients are pure. I am on my second dehydrator. Liver, dehydrated straight out of the package, is a staple around here. $2.99 a pack and I have weeks worth of a little treat 2x a day. Lasts Longer, if I mix it up with dried organic sweet potatoes.
