I just don't understand people! How can you take a loved member of the family and just abandon her??? What's worse is, they actually listed her for sale! It's that same tired story about having children and not having time to take care of her. Even though the add says she is "extremely low maintenance". I feel so bad for her! If I had the money, I would go and get her myself! She looks absolutely adorable. It just makes me so sad! It's like giving up one of your children!

I can't even read the post. I stay off Craigslist because it upsets me so much.
Oh my gosh! This is TERRIBLE! What an adorable doodle! She is beautiful! She just needs groomed. This woman has a lot of nerve trying to sell her, especially for $1,500! She's trying to make a profit. I don't care if the kids help take care of her or not...YOU are the parent and YOU decided to get her in the first place. What a terrible excuse for a dog owner! I PRAY she goes to the right home. Maybe someone should contact her and talk to this crazy woman. I wish I could get this poor doodle. Another thing...she doesn't shed, housebroken, no trouble, low maintenance...WHY ARE YOU GETTING RID OF HER????
Amen. I thought the exact. Same. Thing.
Oh great...As if I thought it couldn't get any worse. I just read the latest on her being sold to a "backyard breeder." OH...I CAN HARDLY TAKE THIS! She just sold her beloved pet into slavery!
Sorry Traci... i edited my original comment. Nobody knows who she sold her pup to but hoping it's really to a good home.
It's my understanding that you can't actually sell pets on Craigslist. So technically she is outside of the Craigslist rules and should be flagged. Taken from the Craigslist prohibited items list:
Household pets of any kind including dogs, cats, primates, cage birds, rodents, reptiles, amphibians, fish. Re-homing with small adoption fee OK
But we just had another person with an unfriendly pup who said she got it on Craig's list-what the heck??
You can give them away Ginny (horrible!) and I'm not sure what constitutes a "small" adoption fee. For some reason I have the idea it is $50.00 or less but I don't see that figure in their rules.
Ugh. I hate this.
These people are selling just about everything they own of any value, I guess. They've got CL ads for furniture & appliances going back to November. Anyone want a nice big stainless steel fridge? :http://tampa.craigslist.org/psc/hsh/3525931527.html
Maybe the kids will be next, lol.
All kinds of furniture, including a king-sized "all wood" bed and bedroom set.
