[BG and Gavin]

One of Gavin’s “aunts” gifted him a lovely new dog bed.  It goes very nicely with our living room décor.  His old bed has seen better days, but we know he loves it, so we put it in the back bedroom for him to enjoy out of the sight of visitors.  Gavin is often torn.  He likes to be on the old bed, but he wants to be with the people.  He has decided to take matters into his own paws so moves the bed out of the back bedroom, down the hallway to the living room.  Today he was satisfied just to get it part way through the living room entryway (where he could keep an eye on everyone), but often he carries it right into the room and places overtop of the new bed.  When he lies down he looks like the princess and the pea.  Anyone else have a good problem solver?

awww... who cares what people think of his old ugly bed. I say, let him rearrange his furniture as he sees fit.  You could go to the store and get a duvet cover?  But, I say, let him have his favorite bed back.

Spud's bed is.... well he uses king-size pillows that he has now drug into the closet.  It is a dog thing-to make a den. He is doing a good job.

Gavin is not only adorable but so smart!  My guys hate it when I wash the bed covers....apparently they don't smell as good when they're "lemony fresh".  They usually boycott them for a day or two and then once they realize the "good doggie smelling" beds aren't coming back they give in.

I don't blame Gavin at all!!  I never sleep as well in a new, strange bed (like in a motel) as I do in my comfy old bed.  More power to you, Gavin!!!

Oh, yes, and it involves his bed! He doesn't like it in his crate, so he'll pull it out, and then proceed to prance around the house with it. He'd rather play with it somewhere else.
