Another little springtime walk

We took the boys over to a park by the Elkhorn Slough today for a little walk.  There was a dead sea lion on the beach which they needed to explore and then some ruddy ducks out on the water.  They went leaping through the mud and at one point only Harpo's head was above the water.  What a mess!  Thank goodness we have a dog bathing area in our garage because I would not have left them near the house.  Everything was covered with black muck.  Got some photos when we came home.

Fun in the muck,and a good time was had by all!!! Why  do the Doodles love the mud and uck so much. Mine are in the kitchen right now waiting for mud to  dry on their paws ...
