Thanks everyone! I was so nervous I would hate it! I do kinda miss the shaggy dog look, but this will be so much easier since Lily loves to roll in every mud puddle she can find. :)

Rita, I'm not sure how I would classify her coat. It's changing as she loses her puppy coat. She's very soft and her coat is very thick. It's not coarse and has a slight curl to it. She so far, even when she was long, has not had any matting issues. I guess she's somewhere in the fleece-y area?

By the way, Lily is gorgeous! My baby (Daphne) recently got a bad haircut! Makes you really appreciate when you see a good one!

Sounds like Lillys coat is very very much like Fazzy's....I am sooo hoping that it doesn't change.  Very easy to care for.  Lilly is very very cute - and the cut is wonderful!!!

I basically asked for a puppy cut, so same length all over. I emphasized I did not want a "poodle cut". *no offense to anyone!* She told me that she left it about 1.5 inches long.
