We are naming our new little boy Casey. Can't wait to see him in less than a week now!

Cooper. If my dreams come true and I'm able to get a chocolate AL her name will be Millie. (I think) ;)
Joan - Cooper was in the "running" for our name selection, too. I love it, but since I have an uncle named Cooper - thought I would have to forgo that one. lol
LOL... your uncle would have either been flattered or offended. Casey is a good choice. :)
Murphy is cute. An Irish friend of mine named her dogs Dublin and Shamrock. :) Other irish related names I've heard are, Limerick and Blarney.
I recently lost my Brinkley in February. He was 14yrs old. Anyway, I always loved his name and even thought of using it again...however, I came to my senses and realized little Cooper deserves his own identity and Brinkley deserves to be remembered for who he was. :) I guess I was still trying to hang on to him.
I love that you said Brinkley's name sounds happy....he was. :) He was a Tibetan Terrier and also non shedding. I was originally looking to get another TT because they are a wonderful, sweet breed but found the Australian Labradoodle ...non shedding (more so than the American Labradoodle) and fell in love. :) Hmmm... maybe I should be thinking of a happier sounding name. ? I tend to like names that end in "y" however Cooper just came to me. Perhaps it's because I have a crush on actor Bradley Cooper? lol
Wrigley was also on my list because I'm from Chicago, however I'm a White Sox fan not a Cubs fan (whose home) statium is Wrigley Field. Not that it matters...I'm not that interested in baseball.
It sounds like your hubby will be a great new dad to your new fur baby. :)
Brinkley was the sweetest dog ever and the happiest. I used to say he's happy because he never heard the word "no".....couldn't hear it. ;) I used hand signals for him and he was always looking at me becasue he couldn't hear. He was my special needs dog. :)
We had a GSD too and lost him to DM. It was so heartbreaking! His name was Chinook. Still love the name, but won't reuse it.
We are getting a mini Goldendoodle in 2 weeks for the same reason you got yours. We are still throwing around names. It's hard with 5 people and everyone has different ideas. Maybe we'll have to toss a coin in the end. :-)
Love Murphy. I know you are excited about picking him out.
And "Murph" is cute for his nick name too.
Murphy was a name we considered for our dog and as we already have a dog named Cooper, that was out of the running. Finn, Rónán, Lochlain, Padraig, and Cormac were all considerations but then I got the pup and he was SUCH a nerd - clumsy with feet too big for his body and car sick the whole way home - that all of these strong, Celtic names blew out the window and now we have......Stanlee. My very own version of a Super Hero. If Stanlee were a young man in a super hero outfit, he would look like this:
And when you call him, you have to make your voice sound like a little old lady from Jersey.....SSSTAAAANLEE
Can't WAIT to see all of your puppies!!!!
