It's pretty safe to say that most of us have chosen the type of food our pup will eat, the training techniques we will attempt, and preparing all of the basics for that much anticipated arrival of our new family member.
These are all very important decisions to make-- but lately I've been a little hung up on the things that I really want to get to spoil our pup! There are things that they'll need, but it's been pretty easy to go above and beyond on all of it.
I can't imagine I'm the only one-- so what things have you been adding to your puppy wish list?!
A few of mine include:
Personalized tags/collars from Etsy
Simply fido stuffed toys
Ruffwear portable dog bowl
And the organic dog bed from West Paw

well, now you have added things to MY list! ha ha ha
I have been just trying to get the basics purchased and am feeling a bit behind on that! The dog food came in yesterday, and I can't decide where to store it. Plus, I need to get a container for that! I still have gates and crates to purchase. Analyze pet insurance. Flea treat the yard?
But, I did purchase this playpen! (from Amazon)

That playpen is really cute. We have a small x-pen that I plan to set up in my sunroom for him to stay in during play time. We plan to feed him and let him sleep in his crate. By leaving him in the x-pen, he can see our other dogs and interact with them a bit, but they won't be able to bully him. Of course, he actually won't be spending very much time in there between taking him for short walks, outside to potty, and just to play with and hold.
I love this, and the items that Amy listed above. Thanks for giving me some great ideas.
Cute stuff Amy! Thanks for the ideas!
