Labradoodle & Goldendoodle Forum
after over 30 ignored phone calls over four weeks and countless emails unanswered and ignored and from the advice given on this website we sent this email to the breeder:
"At this point I feel we have given you more than enough opportunities and time to get back to us and answer our questions about the puppy we reserved, the process, and the many concerns we have noted in previous emails.
Your voicemail is consistently full, and you have been completely unavailable to us. You have not given us opportunities to discuss our concerns and have only sent us short emails with pictures of a puppy and yet no answers to our questions or ways in which we can better reach you. In fact, the last phone conversation we have had where you actually picked up your phone, was when you were trying to run our credit card.
You have excuses after excuses about why you are unavailable, which lends the question of who is even caring for these dogs when you are so obviously busy traveling and then some.
All this leads to a laundry list of suspicion, to which while we have provided you with ample opportunities to explain, you have not taken the opportunity to do so.
You have misrepresented yourself as a quality breeder, and we are no longer interested in working with you. At this point in time, we are requesting a full Refund for the puppy we purchased."
of course she didn't reply to the email!
I disputed the charges with the credit card company. the process can take up to 3 month to resolve. the rep suggested that we try conference calling the breeder to see what happens and the call went to voice mail.
so now i'm preparing a packet of phone records and emails to send to the credit card company to support my claim and then i will have to wait and see what happens.
Lets hope for the best. ...

So sorry that you are going through this pain....:-( I hope that credit card company will understand and support your claim....
so do I, its an annoying process but im sending the credit card company 28 pages of supporting documents, email, phone records, text messages and copies of her "guarantees" from her website. lets hope its enough
Good for you--you did the correct thing --and may have avoided even more heartache if you got a sick puppy at the end of this--it would be so great if the breeder could be reported to someone in that area so that the situation could be investigated. A lot of humane societies have animal abuse officers that do investigations for possible inhumane conditions. Although we hope that is not the case here, it very well could be a front for a puppy mill.
im in contact with the Indiana attorney general. then have a complaint application on line and im in the process of finding out if other complaints have been filed against her. the process takes some time to complete
It is terrible that you are having to go through this. I sure hope you get your money back and then you can concentrate on getting the puppy you were meant to have. Good luck.
I am so sorry you have to go through this and Good Luck!
Our breeder is located in Waddy, Kentucky -- not too far from Indiana, if my geography is correct. In fact, I met her in Cincinnati to pick up Charlotte last summer. Once you get past dealing with your current challenge of obtaining a refund from what sounds like a nightmare of a breeder, you are welcome to send me a private message and I'll happily tell you about our wonderful experience.
