Labradoodle & Goldendoodle Forum
Hey guys,
I'm just trying to get some feedback regarding neck collars, or harnesses.
I am getting my 12 week old pup on February 13th.
He is a tiny goldendoodle.
should be 18-25lb full grown - and is 12 weeks when I get him.
What are your preferences ?

Welcome to the club!
Amazon carries them in varying sizes and colors - although I still don't get why some colors cost twoce the price...

I am glad I am not the only one! But really, they have great prices. I really only go to stores if I need something immediately or to look at sizing! That is exactly what my friends and family say.
Oh- you are definitely not alone- Ragley and I go to the pet store for socialization and so I can actually put my hands on something I have seen on chewy before I buy it! Even something as simple as a bag of treats gets put in the cart on chewy for my next shipment rather than spending the extra dollar or two plus tax in the store!
Sounds exactly like us! Since I have an auto ship I always just add things I need there too.
Oh my word...he is a cutie...we have a 7 month old puppy and she used to pull quite a bit on our walks...we purchased the Easy Walk Harness from Petsmart and it has worked like a charm.
I use the Easy Walker that clasps at the under throat for his walks. I then use that with a clip as his seatbelt.
Your new dood is so cute! Is it a surprise for your wife, then? I bet she would not mind an early gift! Is the imprinting like a sleep away training course?
Same here, we also use the harness to clip to the seatbelt. Its our "go" harness, either for a walk or the car.
We also purchased the harness when Yogi was 12 weeks, knowing he would grow out of it, but just so he could get used to it.
I would start with a cheap nylon collar just as a start, don't spend much as this baby will grow out of it in jig time. You can find the most gorgeous collars and spend fortunes ( I know, I'm addicted LOL) when your tiny GD is all grown up.
I use a collar if we are just running around doing errands, etc. but for walks and hikes where we can encounter other animals, I like to use a harness because he can't wiggle out of one. I have an Easy Walk harness, which is okay. I've tried a few different kind but Picco pulls on with of them and it was the last one I tried.
