If she is of mini stock, she might be done, even though she is big for a mini.

My experience has been that they slow down a great deal around that age.  She will probably still add a little more weight over the next year.  Maybe 5-10 lbs. which would make her just about right according to her 16 week weight.

I agree with Sheri, it sounds normal and the 16 week formula works pretty good, so I'd guess she'll gain another 5+ at least, over the next year. My two have had consistent weights since about 15-18 mo of age. I keep their weights right around 60-62 pds for health reasons. I like them lean.

Saw the same thing with Finnegan.  He continued to fill out over the next year.

thanks.

I was originally told by the breeder probably around 45-50 lbs based on the parents. The vet and everyone I know said no way in **** have you looked at those paws? But maybe she will end up in the 50+ lb range after all.

Lily was similar. Everyone saw her paws and thought she would keep growing. She was the same, 45lbs at 8 months. She slowly gained about 10 more pounds and stopped a little after she turned a year old. :)
Cocoa didn't get any taller once she was about 7 or 8 months, but she continued to fill out and gained some weight. As far as huge paws, everyone couldn't believe how big her paws were UNTIL a groomer cut the hair on her paws really short and they were actually delicate little poodle paws under all that fluff! Who knew?

Darwin's rate of growth slowed around 8 months and he didn't grow much taller after that point. He did slowly continue to fill out past 1 year though.

I did expect her to slow down at about 8 months. More surprised that it slowed down after 6 months. Only 4 lbs gained between 6 and 8 months.

Very similar to my girl, and she is now almost two.  At spay she was 8 months and 36 lbs. At her 1year check up she was 43lbs and I guarantee she has rounded up another five. More solid and less gawky, she has long legs and is less filly like.
