I have always dearly loved Yogi since the moment we brought him home. He has always been so sweet and well behaved. Now that Maci Bear is home, I've found I love him even more. He has been so tolerant and good to her. He allows her to drink from his water bowl when she comes up, takes her toys to share, and is so gentle with her. I've seen a new side of him and I think he is very happy to have a buddy. Maci and he have already enjoyed a couple rounds of tug. I'll have to get my pictures posted. Ive had computer problems or they would be on here now. Thanks for everyone's encouragement to get another doodle! I know it's not a great pic, it's taken with my phone, but here's one.

Sounds like Yogi is a fantastic big brother!  Maci Bear is a lucky girl and you are a lucky doodle mom!  Enjoy your doodle kids and post lots of pictures!!

What a refreshing post, Leslie! I'm so glad to hear that your two are enjoying each other! They're both lucky, and so are you. :)

Cute photo Leslie.  Just seems like yesterday that I posted a similar photo of Charlie Brown and his little brother Beau.  Beau will be 2 in Aug and Charlie B will be 4 in December!  Time flies when you are having so much fun.  I can see your two are going to be great buddies!

I'm so happy for you and your new doodle addition!

I'm very glad to hear that. Hope it will be the same with Nimbus and our new addition in October.

So sweet!  Leslie, I'm feeling the exact same thing about Ellie, too.  I'm glad to hear that Yogi is doing so well with Maci Bear! Sounds like we have similar things going on now...it's so much fun to see them together.

Aw, thanks for updating! It sounds like everything is going great! I can't wait to hear more updates!

Great post! I love that they're so happy together!

We were so worried when adding a 3rd into our pack because our first 2 are best friends. I was worried they wouldn't all bond the same, I am very glad to say I was wrong. We now have a 3 way love fest of dog love!

I was always afraid that getting a second dog would take away the first ones affection. But have read that dogs will take to their main human over any other dog and have heard from multi-dog owners that it's true and the affection is still there.  I guess I could now throw out that excuse for not getting a playmate for Picco!

DonMarie,
I think you just have to be careful when you get the second dog. My trainer said to be sure and have them separated quite a bit at first so the new puppy will bond to you the human instead of the other dog. It's working so far ;-). Yogi is 10 months, so he is very much still a puppy and sees this as an opportunity to play even more. He is still my buddy!

So glad to hear things are going well.

Thanks F, btw how's the Baltics?
