Labradoodle & Goldendoodle Forum
I know most of you know about Pink and October being National Breast Cancer month. But before we get there, September is National Childhood Cancer Awareness month. Childhood Cancer's support color is gold (yellow). This cause is very near and dear to my heart as my daughter was diagnosed at age 5 with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. After 2 1/2 years of chemotherapy she is a survivor. She's been off therapy for a year and a half and is doing great. If you can, please where gold or yellow one time during September (or have your doodle!) in honor of all of the Survivors and Warriors of Pediatric Cancer. It is the number one killer of Children in our country. These kids are such strong and wonderful souls. Here are our doodles and my daughter Grace supporting the cause. I love my doodles but I am so very proud and inspired by my daughter. She is my hero. :) GO GOLD!

Way to go Grace! I'm so happy to hear that she is doing well. What a beautiful little girl ( & pack of doodles)! We will certainly wear gold this month to support your daughter's victory and the far too many children that are forced to deal with cancer at such a young age.
