Labradoodle & Goldendoodle Forum

I know most of you know about Pink and October being National Breast Cancer month. But before we get there, September is National Childhood Cancer Awareness month. Childhood Cancer's support color is gold (yellow).  This cause is very near and dear to my heart as my daughter was diagnosed at age 5 with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. After 2 1/2 years of chemotherapy she is a survivor. She's been off therapy for a year and a half and is doing great. If you can, please where gold or yellow one time during September (or have your doodle!) in honor of all of the Survivors and Warriors of Pediatric Cancer. It is the number one killer of Children in our country. These kids are such strong and wonderful souls. Here are our doodles and my daughter Grace supporting the cause. I love my doodles but I am so very proud and inspired by my daughter. She is my hero. :) GO GOLD!

What a great photo of your beautiful daughter with her pack of handsome doodles!

The President of the Naked Doodles Club says he will gladly wear a gold bandanna this month in Grace's honor. :)

I will happily do this in honor of your daughter. I am so glad she is a survivor and I love the picture!!!

Way to go Grace! I'm so happy to hear that she is doing well. What a beautiful little girl ( & pack of doodles)! We will certainly wear gold this month to support your daughter's victory and the far too many children that are forced to deal with cancer at such a young age.

What a beautiful picture of your daughter and the pack!! We will also happily wear gold in Graces honor!

My guys will be sporting yellow this month for sure!!!! What a great picture.

 Great looking Doodles !

I'm so happy that your daughter survived the monster. My niece was not that lucky... Thank you for using this forum to keep raising awareness. May God continue blessing your girl with health and a long life. Love your doodles. I'm making a bandana for Moose too!

Raquel, I am so very sorry about your niece. This beast is just awful. :(

Gorgeous doodles, gorgeous girl.

Thank you so much everyone. Your support means lot. And I'm sure any moms, dad, or caregivers of cancer children in your area will be so grateful for your support.
