Does anyone not have an aggressive chewer when it comes to chew treats? I crack up about this's term because every dog I've had (beagles to doodles) have been aggressive chewers. They can chew through anything. Just think the term is funny. How do your doodles chew?

Ruby is only 12 weeks so we shall see. We were given a Bark Box when we got her with a Zany Moose toy. To date, it has held up to everything. Ruby chews it, uses it as a tug toy, a fetch toy, wrestles with it and sweetly always sleeps with it. I have never seen such a toy but plan on getting another one if/when it "bites" the dust. She had a litter mate who was this color and size and we wonder sometimes if she thinks it is another puppy.

What a sweet picture of Ruby and her stuffy! Tara has the same stuffy we gave her for the ride home from the breeder's six years ago. I too tried to get a replacement for it in case there was a disaster because she is so attached to it, but NO luck!  I've had to restitch the seams a time or two as the threads became weak from too much love and too many washings. I just hope nothing ever happens to it!

Darling photo and she and the stuffie even match your rug.

So far Gracie hasn't been destructive in chewing her toys. But, she does like to gnaw a lot!

Roo is an aggressive chewer and can destroy any toy except Zogoflex ones in about ten minutes.  Cannot even give him nylabones as he is able to chew them to the unsafe level in one evening.

Tigger is the only dog I have ever had who, at nearly seven years of age, has never chewed on soft toys.  He loves soft toys and chases them, shakes them and sucks on them like a baby will on the silky edge of a blanket.

Tara  is not an aggressive chewer. It can take her a week or longer to finish a bullystick. Some dogs can finish one off in about 10 minutes.  She has had a favorite stuffy for 6 years now that is still in reasonably good condition (well loved). As for  the other non-favorites she just extracts the brains. This can take place days or years after she receives them. I'm pretty sure she was a brain surgeon in her former life! :)

Our doodle Clancy is an aggressive chewer - never chews inappropriate things, but then we got him at age two.  Clancy can de-squeak a toy in  a minute (or less).  He was given a recycled firehose toy for Christmas and it actually took a few days for him to delicately chew the end off so that he could get the squeaker out.  He still likes it though and it has now been weeks!

Yes, I think chewy toys are a challenge to them.  Anything with a squeaker has a short life span at our house.  Harpo loves stuffed toys and will always pick up one to meet you or to go outside.  He always has at least one in his bed at night.   However, plush toys never get torn up.  Actually, his favorite thing is a duck that does have a squawk hidden deep inside, but it has never been taken out.  He has three of these ducks because we get new ones whenever we see them, and the older ones have their wings torn off, but he still carries them around.  I think it is rather like kids and their "blankies".   I actually can remember my teddy that I had for sixteen years.  I finally threw away that rag of a bear when I was sixteen.  My mom got a laugh out of that.  She said I traded by teddy in for a boyfriend.

Our Gordie has 'fuzzy' balls that are not made any longer.  Clancy has destroyed all of them which is very sad for Gordie as they most definitely were his security blanket.

My mini Doodle was an aggressive chewer....his goal is to rip apart every squeaky toy he could get his hands on.  Now that he's older, he's much better about that.  My Murphy is just the opposite.  He cuddles with his squeaky toys or bats them around....never destroys them.

I feel bad for Max as he can't have very many toys. He has destroyed so many even some of the ones that are for "aggressive chewers" The local butcher sells bones that I can get him and that's about it. Any balls we have he can only play with under supervision when we're actually playing fetch otherwise he'll destroy them.

Finn loves soft plush toys with squeakers. At 4 years old, he still carries them around, tosses them in the air, sleeps with them, and loves them to death until he gets all the stuffing and the squeaker out.  Even the toughest ones. It can take 3 hours to 3 months. He also has a fleece crate pad that he loves to take to bed. It's always an "issue" when I throw it in the washing machine lol. It's interesting that he seems to know what's his and what's not.
