They are cute! I think this is normal--worried me when I had 2 husky's (one was adult when the 8 week old joined the family). I think this is normal play, you might even hear the little one yelp when being corrected, I think they getting to know each other. Giving Moose a break is a great idea as to not try his patience other than that I say just keep a watchful eye and I think they and you will become more comfortable with their roughhousing.
Awww! Congratulations, Moose is absolutely adorable! Loki will teach Moose a lot and yes, rough puppy play is perfectly acceptable. It's the way they learn bight inhibition. It is the way Moose would have played with his litter mates. Most likely Loki will adjust his style of play down for Moose. Dogs are very smart and I'm sure he is happy to have a little brother to play with.
I agree with what is said. They are both sooooo cute! I love their coloring! Definitely normal behavior and Loki will make sure that Moose gets corrected, which is great to help them understand how to interact with other doggies. I'd say just make sure that Moose gets a potty break after rough play :) Sometimes they don't even realize they have to go when they're having so much fun. Enjoy!!
Haha I know, right? Silly puppies. Angus hasn't had an accident in our house since around 3 months (he's 9 months now), but we've had a close call or two when we're playing a lot inside and Angus is like .. "uh oh emergency!" haha Enjoy your cute babies :)
They are so perfect!!
We have had our Darby for almost a week. I love that you named your guy Moose, we call her Moose because of her huge paws! We have an older Golden Retriever and a Yorkie. Darby has been trying to play rough with them. Both of the other dogs are correcting her and don't let her get too rough. I panic, but my husband says this a good thing and exactly what needs to be done to teach Darby how to play with them. The rough play does make me nervous but I think it's normal.
Good Luck!
