Just curious?

I live in a rural area surrounded by small towns. It is really hard to find doggie daycare in this area. I figure if I have this problem so do a lot of others.

This idea has occurred to me more than once, but especially since I thought about getting a new puppy and my options for dog care are limited.

I've never either but I've always thought when I have a few spare hours here and there on a rainy day that the idea of an indoor place to take the dogs would be fun!

Back in 2009 I spent a few months in Dallas with our Lab Ellie (ie, Yellow Labrador Retriever!). There was a large indoor, air conditioned, well supervised doggy play place that Ellie loved. I thought it was a great idea for anyplace with an uncomfortably hot or cold climate. Unfortunately, about a year or two later, it went out of business, so I guess not enough people agreed with me.

Our daughter's mother-in-law started a doggie care (walking and in-home care) business in Austin Texas.  She did it with a nationally known site. She now has more business that she can handle and really enjoys her work.  If you would like, send me a pm and I will get you the name of the organization with which she is affiliated,
