About a week ago I learned this new term "Velcro dog" from Jess, Loki, and Moose. I loved it so much and it describes Orwell perfectly.

I thought we could all post pictures of our Velcro dogs doing what they do best-- being Velcro.

Orwell and I are stuck inside today because it's really stormy here in the Portland area. We are both kind of bored, so I took pictures of him being Velcro. He's needy, but I love him for that. I'm needy too.

Also thought it'd be nice for you all to see updated pictures. He just got his hair cut on Friday.

Settling down for his nap while I work.

This is after I whispered his name so you could see his face.

Thank you! This is by far my favorite picture of them!

This is Bella right now, not 3 feet from me as I sit on the computer. We had to teach her "NO Kitchen" so she would stay out of the kitchen because she was under foot so much while I was cooking.  I call her the Supervisor, as she watches every move. I think it's more about how sloppy I am when I'm in the kitchen tho, and she gets to clean up after me.

I had asked my breeder, April, for a cuddly, affectionate doodle the second time.....watch what you wish for.

Yeah. :) I would say watch what you wish for because sometimes they're behind you and you don't know it! I've bumped into Orwell several times. Even though he is huge, he doesn't have a jingly collar so he slips off my radar every now and then.

Bella's a good, sweet girl. Looks like a cloud.

Aww thank you, she is just the sweetest living being I know.

Both pics of Bella are adorable !   Hanna is not a Velcro dog and Ive always said if I get another one someday I would also ask for one that is more of a snuggler/lap dog ---enjoy!

Because of how Orwell is, I've decided the procedure of how to pick out the next dog I get from a breeder.

I'm going to wait for a litter so I can have first pick, and I don't care how far away the breeder is... I will go and meet them around 6 weeks. I know breeders are great at placing dogs, but I can't imagine not personally picking the pup out. Though, I hope to be picked again so I don't have to do the picking. :P

Orwell's haircut is very cute! I wanted an affectionate loyal dog and I've got it!  A hopeless velcro doodle here. It's so nice to reach out a hand and feel his fuzzy head or reach over and give him a hug.  But sometimes (I must admit) I just want to say, don't YOU have something to do? Other times, He watches me so closely, I find myself asking him "What??" Yes, I'm not only talking to Finn but I'm EXPECTING an answer :)  Sigh.  Love Sue's term: the Supervisor.  Here --in real time-- is Finn watching me as I type this LOL  It's raining. He's about 5 feet away…like the Secret Service!!  If I call him over -- he'll immediately "smile."

Orwell is the same. If he isn't bugging me for pets, he lays down and watches me until he falls asleep.

:)

"Secret Service" That is so funny. Yes Finn looks like he's on a very serious mission!!! Adorable.

oh my goodness-love it !  give that Finn a big hug from me!!!

Secret Service might be accurate. Some of these guys are probably really nice to all humans. However, I can't help but think Orwell might turn into a very mean dog if I'm threatened. I wouldn't be surprised if that was the case for these other velcros.
