LOL Nancy, well you know Tara has had a crush on Ned since they first "met"! Wait until I tell her he is a genius on top of being one hot lookin' dood!
My friend's poodles chew their nails! Maybe a poodle thing??
One of my dogs breathes loudly when she wants some of my food--like a wheeze--never does it any other time. Another one rubs her ears and groans while we eat dinner EVERY NIGHT---right under the table...very noisy....my third doodle, Rio is an angel and I can not think of any weird habits but does have to follow me everywhere--not weird, but it is a habit!
These weird habits are fun to read about!!
Both my doodles are nail biters! I'm glad to read there are others that do it, because I thought these two were freaks. Beasley is one to do it right when I'm going to sleep, too - just last night, I had to tell her to stop the chomping.
Eloise will groan or sigh in utter disgust or annoyance, depending on the situation - like when I tell her not to do something, or I don't do something she wants me to do, or I otherwise bother her. It's kind of hilarious! She also likes to position her hiney right in front of me for a "butt scratch" - when she wants her back scratched right above her tail.
Beasley has to violently flop around on the bed every morning. She'll lay quietly until I wake up, but as soon as she knows I'm "awake for the day" she starts happily wagging her tail, then rubbing her face on the duvet cover like she's wiping her mouth (ugh!), and then she ends it with the violent flopping, where she'll throw herself down right next to me, still rubbing her face on the bed and rolling around on the bed, over and over. I think my girls have lots of weird habits!
It does sound just like a kid complaining! Beasley does it some, too - but not like Ellie, who is so amazingly human-like (Beasley, not so much lol). And I'm the same - not a morning person, but Beasley greets every day with such enthusiasm...she helps me start my day more quickly. :)
Mine chews on her nails, too. I've always wondered why.
