I am broken

I am broken. My heart literally aches. Four months ago our Abby, who was only 8, was diagnosed with mast cell and lymphoma cancers. Last monday we said goodbye to her for the last time. I am so lost! I hurt. Did I say I am broken? She was so very loved and she is missed even more. I  hear her sigh, I feel her watching me and turn and she's not there. I miss my sweet baby girl.

I am so sorry!  The last four months must have been so heart wrenching for you and your family!   Although the memories are breaking your heart right now, the good thing about happy memories is that eventually they will bring a smile to your heart and the best thing is that they last forever!  You can tell in your picture that Abby was happy and well loved in her very short time with you!  Hugs!

I know how you feel.  I lost two wonderful doodles, Hondo in 2010 and Groucho Too in 2014.  Their lives are just much shorter than ours.  She would want you to move on. Take your time, but Bocker's mom (you probably know who she is) just got a new puppy and is calling him Baby Bocker.  He looks nothing like Bocker, but the memories are all there.  Three great dogs died in the last few months, Bocker in New York (labradoodle), Truman in California (great dane) and Blossom in Alaska (labradoodle).  I miss them all, as do their families.  Cheer up, good things lie ahead.
