You could call Charlie a Friesedoodle, I guess...

Charlie had a fractured pelvis when he came to us.  The shelter was going to put this beautiful and friendly young Poodle-Bichon Friese down because of the fracture. They thought that he needed surgery which they were not prepared to do.  Our orthopedic vet told us that he didn't need surgery, just a month or so of very limited activity and the fracture would heal.  

Charlie got the green light last week when the vet told us that Charlie's X-Ray indicated that his fracture was healed and we no longer needed to restrict Charlie's activity.  We got him groomed and he is relishing his new found freedom.  We have already had several inquiries about adopting him...

This is Cagney! We pulled him from the Riverside Shelter yesterday and delivered him to a foster mama. This is him still filthy and just after surgery, yet look at his beautiful face and body.  I can't wait to see him after a bath and grooming.He is still a puppy and I am not sure when dog eyes change color.  This boy either has light green eyes or eyes that are changing from blue to amber.

There are people already interested in him.  We need to evaluate his personality and needs a bit more before looking at the applications.  He is quite calm for a puppy.
