Looking to adopt another puppy in Hong Kong. I used Tegan Park last time, but I think they are out of Australia now and I hear Rutland Manor has a long waiting list. Any suggestions for a breeder
I was very happy with both of my breeders. I think they may have puppies available now. They are Whispering Winds, in Washington state and Royal Diamond in California.
That is exactly what I would love to be doing right at this moment. Out of the question as far as my DH is concerned. Check out the breeders in the breeders group or the GD/LD puppy's for sale group. Good Luck
Thanks to all!!! Most Hong Kongers get their doodles from Australia, but I will look at all that you have mentioned and may go with a US breeder this time...
There are a number of Aussie breeders breeding ALD's...I don't have a full list in mind, but worth looking at the Australian Labradoodle Association to see if any of them are listed there. And I'm sure there are other sites that list Aussie breeders.
I heard that my breeders Burkehardts Kennel have recently sent some to China. I do not know this as fact. They are a large breeder facility and I have been there and was very impressed with the conditions. Not a dog smell at all.
I would be sure to get paper work of parentage, registered or not. As well as the genetic testing.
I am not advertising for the breeder. We are happy with our golden doodle f1.
Our 11 mth old F1 Golden Doodle is also from Burkhart Kennel here in Ontario and she ships puppies all over the world. In fact several of the litter Thomas was from were going to China. There are several people on this website that have puppies from Lavina Burkhart's kennel and I believe everyone is thrilled with their dogs. Immpecable reputation-our doodle is smart, handsome, and very good nautured.
Canyon Court Labradoodles has Australian labradoodles from both Tegan Park and Rutland Manor lines. Both my pups are from them and I recommend them highly. They are in the San Diego California area. I think they may have puppies right now, check out their website.
In my opinion, you will undoubtedly get a puppy with the best start possible from a small family breeder who does not have more than 1-3 litters in house at any one time. Puppy care is time consuming. I am sure there are some really reliable breeders who pay for great help with several litters, but generally, family breeders are just that- a small family that sells a small number of puppies. They are not going to get rich. They mainly just love it.
Thanks!!! They do have a few available...I don't see to many Miniature Labradoodles around and that is really what I want....They do have one female who is a small medium. I will gather a little bit more info and then start to email breeders. Thans again!
Thanks so much for your info!!! I would be interested in a miniature labradoodle, possibly a very small medium. Zuzu is a dainty 9 kilos!! So want one similar in size....
