It's Official! Finn is TBDITW

About Me:

I finally acquired the dearest little doggy, after waiting nearly 20 years for the time to be right! And, on August 22nd 2009, (about 18 months later,) Marvellous Mabel joined our family, to become a dear companion for Fabulous Finn.

What Type of Doodle(s) do you have? What are their names? Tell us about your doodle(s) or any other pets you have!

I have the cutest little miniature parti Labradoodle boy, Fionn MacCumhaill, AKA Finn. He is a sweet, gentle, kind little spirit and we just love him to bits! His little companion is Marvellous Mabel. She too is a miniature parti Labradoodle. Mabel is a delight; brave, loving, playful, and dainty. She has melted our hearts. There are 2 months between the pups - now aged 2.

Where did you get your doodle(s)?

Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?

We looked at many different breeds. Finn just fitted size-wise, in temperament and looks. He ticked all the boxes. When we saw his face on Avonlee's web-site, with his glassy little eyes, we just knew he was the one we'd been waiting for. We wanted a dog that looked unique, and Finn with his parti-markings is just that. He's a lovable, scruffy little rug on legs.
We were not actively looking for a second dog, but when we heard of Mabel, we knew she was meant to be ours. Mabel has made the family complete.

What are Your Favorite Things to Do With Your Doodles?

Everything. I love having them groomed, having them scruffy. I love playing fetch with Finn, with the flicker-ball, watching him dig in the sand, showing him off, having him do tricks, tickling his tummy, snuggling with him on the sofa, walking him in the woods and swimming with him.
I love playing chase with Mabel. She crouches down and covers her eyes, then bolts off when I chase her. I love it when she paddles her paws in the air for attention; when I reach down to kiss her, and rub her little tummy, I can feel all her little titties - too cute!
I love watching the 2 dogs getting to know each other; watching them whizz 'round and 'round in circles chasing each other.

Favorite Doodle Products?

Finn loves his flicker-ball. He devours soft toys; they never last. He likes antlers. He loves bones, and kong toys stuffed with treats.
We are still discovering what Mabel likes. She has discovered she likes freeze-dried cheese and fresh chicken!
