Linda ~ thank you for the friend request. We have two things in common right off the bat - our names and our doodles! LOL I just love the name Morgan and your profile photo is off the charts cute. Keep it in mind for a possible submission to the calendar in the fall. Doodle Kisses usually makes 3 calendars and your photo could get picked for the puppy calendar. Submission begin in the fall - if you do a search on the site, it will bring up last year's info. Check out the photography group too as it is one of the most active and fun groups within this site. Looking forward to seeing you on DK.
Hi Linda ~ I noticed the discussion you started on parasites, but I had nothing to add to that. I see you are fairly new to the site and just wanted to say Welcome. I have two ALDs ~ Charlie will be 5 in Dec 2015 and Beau (our parti boy) will be 3 Aug 5th. I see you joined the Puppy Madness group and you will find a lot of info there. You might also like to join the grooming group so you can hit the group running with your new little one. Most ALDs do not shed and the puppy coat is fairly easy to manage, but it is so important to get them used to frequent gentle brushing. Somewhere between 8 mos and 14 mos., the mature coat starts to come in and it is imperative at that time to brush daily or the coat will begin to mat. It takes weeks to brush out the puppy coat, but once the mature hair does come in, coat maintenance does get easier. I hope to see puppy photos soon and hear what you named your puppy. Again, welcome to this site.
Have fun with your new pup.
