- What Type of Doodle(s) do you have? What are their names? Tell us about your doodle(s) or any other pets you have!
- I have adopted an 8 month old goldendoodle puppy named Brody from the DRC and he is a very good boy.
- Where did you get your doodle(s)?
- Rescue
- Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?
- I have loved golden retreivers since I was a boy, but my son has dander allergies. They only hypoallergenic dogs were to foo-foo for a guy like me. My wife discovered doodles and their somewhat hypoallergenic qualities, and they were cool... not foo-foo. We went to a friend who volunteers for a shelter in NY and she found Brody on Petfinder. I contacted the DRC who was the listed shelter for Brody and we've been doodle lovers since.
- What are Your Favorite Things to Do With Your Doodles?
- Hugs and snuggles are at the top of the list... he's a big ol' teddy bear. He's also helping me to exercise more with our long walks together and now that my fence is completed he has shown that he is an excellent ball player.

My poor Brody got hit by a car

Last night I was out and recieved a phone call from my wife.... "Get home NOW! Brody was hit by a car!"
I raced home like Tony Stewart on a NASCAR track and found the family in the front yard with a broken and sore Doodle. He came right up to me as if to say "Daddy, HELP!"
I picked him up, which at 90 lbs is no easy feat and carefully placed him in the van and took him to the Animal Hospital here in Oradell, NJ. Brody could walk gingerly, and was bleeding on 3…
