Happy 64th Roy!
I am 64 Today! Wow!! That was Fast.
Thanks for the welcome Karen! I just looked at your photos, beautiful doodles. And your living in the state I always wanted to live in. I was in Oregon many years ago and just loved it there.
Thanks Ginny. Over the last 6 months or so, alot of the black is turning what I think they call in Old English Sheepdogs, grizzle. It's a bit of gray with some silver and a lighter black, if that makes sense. Her head and one ear is still black. She just turned 3 on February 26th, I didn't think their coloring would change at this age. And thanks for the 50 something welcome!!
Welcome Margaret! You already know how much I love Pebbles from the Christmas card--what a beautiful doodle!! The parti color labradoodles like mine often have speckling of black in the white parts--that is what is so remarkable about Pebbles--so black and sooo white!
I was just looking at the all the groups to join, and found this one! I am 55,(YIKES), and have been a widow for over 10 years. Pebbles is my sheepadoodle,Old English Sheepdog/Standard Poodle, and I have 10 year old Mitzie, who is a border collie/terrier mix, I think!!
Dear Linda--so happy for you! I just want to mention something about your trip--I raise pups as a side job for my breeder and we are SO SO careful about what the puppy is exposed to before he has had all of the vaccinations--no rest areas, no other dogs, no deep woods, etc. So, please take precautions if your new little baby is going on a road trip!!
Hello All, well we have had our newest addition for over a week now. We are loving every minute of it. My husband and I are both 60 yrs old. Moneyenny is a chocolate/white parti labradoodle (F2b). We also have a F1 Labradoodle. Lucy is 3 yrs old. Talk about 2 different personalities. Lucy is reserved and loving. Moneypenny is wild and loving. Lucy is a rescue we got at when she was 10 months. Moneypenny we found from a breeder here in Ky and was able to pick her up when she was 8 weeks. We are getting ready to take a trip in our RV with the girls. We are heading to Florida in a round about way. I will let you all know how it goes.
We adopted Bella at 4 months. She will be 3 years old in May. She is now a trained therapy and service dog (for me to assist with balance and mobility)- I am 60 with a knee problem. She does keep me and my 65 year old husband moving and is a wonderful companion!
Awe! Thanks so much Nancy! I think I will need some support! LOL Can't believe I have reached "that" age! I still think of myself as 30 years old! LOL Thanks, my friend!
