Here is Violet (she's a shy girl, good name for her!) with her littermate, my Rocky. They were solid black pups. Hadn't seen each other since they were 8 weeks old, but we are pretty sure they recognized each other!  Taken at the GR Doodle Romp on Sat., May 3. We had a good time!

Glad Saturday was a success!  Thanks for scheduling another.  I put it on the calendar for June 7th.  Max will be so happy to play!

Hi everyone!  10 doodles showed up on Sat. May 3 for the first Grand Rapids Doodle Romp - 8 goldendoodles, a labradoodle and a berniedoodle. So many people said "I can't this time, I hope you do it again" that I decided, "Why not?"  So Rocky and I will be at Hillcrest Dog Park from 10 to 11:30 a.m. on first Saturdays. I'd like to do a beach doodle romp at Kruse or Kirk parks later, when the water isn't still full of icebergs - who's in?  I posted the event on Facebook and here in the Events section.  Y'all come!

Hi Erica, I live in Grand Rapids and have been getting to know a few people here with doodles, so I decided to invite folks to join Rocky (F1 standard, black "shagamonster", b 9/2011) and me at Hillcrest Dog Park next Saturday morning, 10 a.m. to noon. I'm really excited that one of Rocky's littermates is coming!  There's a big fenced area divided in two, one smaller side for puppies and small dogs and the big area for big dogs. Rocky loves it. 1200 Lyon St. NE.  I hope you can come by!

I would love to see a doodle romp in Michigan. I would go even if I do not have my puppy yet to meet every one and their doodles.
