This is right up my alley. I LOVE to take pictures, now maybe I will be able to take GREAT pictures with some pointers from the "professionals". I just bought a new Canon SX20IS and am just learning how to use it. I do digital and paper scrapbooking, just learning the digital. See example. It's fun, but don't understand all the terms and it is more hit and miss right now. I have Adobe Photoshop Elements 7 and Microsoft Digital Imaging Pro and look forward to getting help with either.

Kevin,I don't have Photoshop now but I'm sure some people do have or will have it so please do your exercise when you have time.

I'm sure there is other software available you can do the speech bubble thing with, but I use Photoshop, do you have Photoshop? if you do, I can put together a little exercise to teach everyone. Let me know. As anyone who has seen my blogs, I use speech bubbles a lot!

Such a good idea for a group! Photography is one of my hobbies, and I especially enjoy taking good pictures of dogs. Currently I am using a Canon EOS Rebel T1i digital SLR. My favorite software I use is Adobe Photoshop.

I have a question for the group. Does anyone know how to do the pictures that have "bubbles" with words (text) coming out of the dog's mouth? Is it photoshop or some other software? I've always wanted to learn how to do it.
