That's great news!!! Just be warned that they love to go in at the worst times possible, so keep your towels handy!! P.S. It's still so fun!!

Okay, I know I've commented a lot, mostly because I had suspicions that my little Lizzie Louise would be a swimming fiend, but now it has come true. I just posted a blog, but Lizzie had the chance to get into a pool, and she took it!!!!
She got in on her own accord with no coaxing and LOVED it!!!
So I now officially have a swimming doodle, yay!!!

Well it's official the swim season has started!! We opened the pool last week and Mercedes had her official it's swim time again!!

So, Lizzie went "swimming" in her water bowl in my dining room! On my 60 year old hardwood floors, of course. Do any of your dogs do this? How did you get them to stop? She only does it when I'm not watching....

Great picture. We also have ducks in a creek behind our yard and Mercedes just sits and watches them by the water. When they go into the pool,we are the ones that have to chase them out since Mercedes is their buddy! I guess that she feels there is enough water for everyone!!

So Lizzie hasn't become a "swimming" doodle yet, but I have a feeling she will be soon! Let's see, she chased ducks into a pond up to her chest (where her leash ended, b/c I was facing the other way), she's climbed INTO her water bucket (not sure how), she walked right into the shower with my aunt when they were puppy-sitting, and LOVES playing with the hose. I think I'm going to buy a kiddie pool for her this summer. So I guess I have a semi-swimming doodle! PS I love the picture of mercedes on the raft!
