Congratulations Karina & Wassim for getting on the Almond Blossom Doodle list. Anja sounds like a sweetie. I genuinely believe they select their dogs carefully - we are all so happy with our pups from their various mom/dad litter combos. I can hardly wait to see your new addition this summer!!!! Is your pup going to be a medium (30-40 lb) doodle or a big one (aka, a gentle giant)?

We went up to visit Almond Blossom last Friday and got to met Anja, Casey and Micah. We are on the waiting list for the Anja/Casey litter due mid July. Tula was just bred and is expected to have her litter a couple weeks after Anja. If I remember correctly this will be Tula's last litter but not totally sure about that. She was at the groomers when we were there so we didn't get to meet her. We fell in love with Anja though. We had the option of either Anja's litter or Tula's litter and decided to stick with Anja. We just LOVED her so much. Such a loving and sweet golden! As of now we have the #6 pick. I just sent the deposit on Friday so we are all set! April 19th is the confirmation date and July 10th is the expected pick up date. We are SO excited!!

I felt guilty that I kept asking Shelly about Tula's litter before we got Mochi, and and list was full even before Tula got pregnant!
I guess Tula is too popular and that's probably why they wanted to breed her as many times as possible.
if Tula gets pregnant twice a year, she could deliver 80+ puppies during her life!
Good thing Tula already got a full year of rest since her last litter.

Their website has Kachi and Cooper on their current litter page as available. But it also says 2009, not 2010. And it says next litter July/Aug. I would take that as saying the parents are Tula/Micah. I hope Tula retires. She looked exhausted or at least bring her to breed only once/year. Does anyone know how old she is?

nope, she was on Shelly's schedule to deliver more puppies last September (which was when Mochi was only 6 months old) but I heard Tule wasn't able to get pregnant, that's why Joanie and Cathy got puppies from Estee/Micah instead.
But I think Tula might have more babies soon.

Almond Blossom Doodles are just about the cutest doodles I have ever seen....I am especially partial to Tula and Micah's puppies....Does anybody know if Tula is having anymore pups? I hate to say this but I hope not, she has been thru a lot of litters in the past 2+ years..

Ohhh Toby. That MEAN dog should have stayed outside.

Isn't THAT the truth! haha! Who knows what the heck he ate that finally did him in. He wasn't feeling well Thursday (threw up first thing in the morning) and then an our friends from So.CA brought their MEAN Chow with them on a visit to Vegas. They stopped by to see us for a few hours and during that time their dog got into a fight with BOTH of our dogs. This was Toby's first experience with an aggressive dog and it upset him terribly! I'm sure that didn't help his stomach, which was already kind of in knots. The next morning he couldn't eat his breakfast and that night he got violently ill. I'm not saying Toby's illness was their dog's fault. Just sayin'... (Next time I'll know to give him some Pepcid.)

Sounds like ALL our babies have cast iron stomachs...and then Toby gets a gas pocket after everything else he has eaten and this brings him down. Go figure:)
