Well, it is happening! Our second annual Art Share and all of you artists are invited to come if you are from NorCal or willing to travel. My project is using this photo in several different ways - on fabric, needlepoint canvas, and regular canvas.
I'm really looking forward to this special day.

You are so lucky! My family is local but my son and his kiddos moved about 30 miles away and in So. Cal traffic it takes about 40 minutes - not terribly far, but not easy for drop ins.

I'm very lucky to have my daughter's family living right across the street from us! I get to spend LOTS of time with both of my grandchildren. It's nice that Jacob (12) has my husband to mentor him with music - and I have Jenna (8) to mentor ME with artwork. haha! I envy how she can just dive in and start painting, whereas I spend endless hours "thinking" about what I want to paint.

Thank you Jane and Nancy. :) Jenna is one of those kids who sings from the time she gets up until she goes to bed. Everything she does turns into a song - haha! She also LOVES doing artwork together. I don't know if I've mentioned that I turned a spare bedroom into an art room for Jenna and I. We each have an easel and the walls are covered with blank canvases of all sizes for us to play with. I look forward to spending more time in there in 2015. :)
