Thanks for the heads up. He hasn't drank from any puddles to date...he just walks through them!

Try not to let them drink from puddles outside. great way to get giardia, especially puppies!

Rex LOVES ice cubes and the water as well. Every morning after Dan and my showers Rex will climb in the shower to lick it clean, I also turn the shower on a slow drip - which Rex snaps at. It's inexpensive entertainment for him. Rex will go outside to quickly "go" but he will wait as long as possible to go #2...he doesn't get the fact that two trips still gets him wet all over. And why can he love the shower but not the rain...hhmmmmm!

Yes! He loves them so much. We make him do tricks to get one, we figure it is cheaper ( & wont add on to his waist line!)

Yesterday, with all the rain we had a small pond in our back yard. Reilly went into the water up to his belly and then put his face under water and came up gulping..it was so funny!! Then when he came in he was so wet and I tryed to dry him off and all he wanted to do was chew on the towel ! We both had a workout! Does anyone else doodle like ice cubes? Everytime he hears the freezer drawer open he comes running for an ice cube!!

Jackdoodle won't even go out in this!!! I have to drag him, which is like trying to move heavy equipment, lol! What a mess it is out there!

Is anyone else tired of drying off a soggy doggy? Each time we come in from this rain, Taffy gets curlier and curlier. It doesn't seem to bother her at all.

I live in Green Bay WI but have family in IL so I could come anytime for a doodle romp I think that would be awesome I grew up on the west side Melrose Park,I have family so I could stay over night with them
