Welcome to the Dixie's Doodle Alumni group. Dixie has been breeding Austrailian Labradoodles for years now and I thought it would be fun to have a group dedicated to all the precious doodles that came from her program.

Let's share some info about our doodles! What litter did your doodle come from.. and of course, we want to see photos too!!

Carol McCasland, it is so much fun to find Emma's brothers and sisters. Thanks for letting me know.

Cody also loves children, although I don't have any! It just came with the package! When he hears the neighborhood children playing, he just can't stand it that he can't get out there with them! As for chewing, it does get better! Cody mostly just chews on his kong toys now and gets lots of praise. But last night I caught him chewing on my crocs, which were in the wrong place obviously. Bitter Apple has saved rugs, furniture, etc in my house. But its been a while since I've had to use it.

Hi everyone! I think this is going to be a fun group. My doodle, Dixie, is from Kona and Shadow's November 2009 little - she was Yellow Girl. She is so cute and sweet and great with the kids. She is definately counter surfing when we are not looking and actually is quite destructive right now so I have to be really careful what is left out. Last night she even started in on a corner of a built-in cabinet. The bitter apple spray has come back out! She also likes the toilet paper and drinking out of the toilets - no more open bathroom doors here:) I'm looking forward to hearing all about your doodles!

Dixie,
thanks for the info on the food. I've been giving him Canidae and a spoonful of the canned Prairie. I'll check and see what is there in terms of protein and switch to a single protein to see if that helps.
Other than the hot-spot thing, he is the best dog!!

Dixie: We need directions to the dog park. If you've already sent them, I missed the post. Thanks!

Cody doesn't pay much attention to the tv. Usually when I'm watching TV that's his signal to 'play football'. which means he expects me to throw his football until I get tired. He never tires! I'll have to put some dog photos on and see how he reacts. He LOVES other dogs when we walk or go to the dog park. He cracks me up at the park. When other dogs come in, he races up to the gate to greet them! He's Mr. Social!

Cassie looks just like Cody! They'd have a blast playing. Cassie watches TV, and when we put videos of her on the screen, she goes bonkers.... I'm sure she recognizes that "other" dog as one of her "family." ;-)

oh my gosh! My Cody is sibling to Cassie and Emma! he was 'red boy' and now a lively and fabulous 2 year old! We went to the dog park today and a goldendoodle showed up and they instantly bonded and were chasing each other all over the park. It is amazing how these doodles find each other! Wish Cody could romp with Emma and Cassie!

Oh how wonderful to find Cassie's sibling. Emma is gorgeous. Her coat looks a lot like Cassie's, except the color of course. Cassie's is super soft but mats easily when it's long. Yes, they are such wonderful dogs, the best disposition ever. And very, very smart! -Dianne
