  Yep I have the sauce and the meatballs ready and cookie dough balls, and some Zuchinni Bread made ,      I think my DH and I should spend some  "time" together before we leave too !!!   Wilson is also coming !!  I will Enjoy and I can do it!!

Sounds like my first apartment many years ago.  Everyone I know gave me a little something they weren't using.  We jokingly referred to my STYLE as "Early American Poverty".

Maybe take her the recipe's for the homemade pasta sauce and meatballs as well!  Just relax and try and enjoy!  You can do it!

Going to see my daughter today  wish me luck  It will be fine I know but , I am nervous.  I will be myself thats all, and hope for the best

  My DH just came home and I told him of today's events, He was happy to hear what Josh was bringing, and that is exactly what he wanted to happen, now we can contribute,  And as he was going out the door again (he refs soccer games ) he smiled and said, "Don't tell"  so I know we will help but u know I feel like I am in the middle, and Being in the Middle is not fun.

    So this evening I am sure we will discuss and call up our daughter.

  Life    My Mom never told me about this part of parenting !

 Hi everyone,   Just an update  well my DK got the house to rent with BF, and on Saturday she met the mom, but on the phone while the BF was talking I guess she was not very nice.   But . . .   my DH wrote my DK to tell her even though he does not approve of the situation he loves her and will support her to keep her safe.

    WE did find out that BF is brining his bed, dresser, and a lazy Boy chair, so we told our DK that we would get a her a coach, well it turns out that he has a aunt who has a couple of coaches that they will use, and when my daughter when over to BF's house to pick up some stuff, his mom was very nice, and she gave them plates, cups, etc. cleaning supplies the whole gammitt,  When I talked with my daughter I could tell something was wrong, she wanted to know what We Were Going To Give Them.  I told her that we will give her support and help with Internet, but she has to let us know,  I mentioned that Josh's mom lives closer 5 minutes away, we are 4 hours, that it is easier for her to offer more than we can.

   I did tell her that she can use so much $ at Wal-Mart for any extra's she might need, and that we were going to give them a table we don't use. My DK was feeling bad that we didn't give them anything. Oh Boy do I feel guilty or what !

    I would give more if I was closer ! But we also want her too realize that she is setting up house and her and her BF have to make decisions of what they need.  

  We were going to see her this weekend, but the house is a complete mess, so she is busy cleaning her BF doesn't want us to see it in such bad shape, which is nice of him.

  My Daughter gave me a hard time because my Husband and I are going out to eat Friday, and she Says  "you go out alot "  lol lol

    She also said were were making a "Big Deal" out of this , she doesn't want my dad to know because he would go nuts ( her really would not)  So I am not telling my dad, and Not sure if my DH is going to tell his parents.

    AS I look into this at least she is taking note of how it is too run a house, and work it is.

     I told her I made some Cookie dough so I can bring some cookies to her,she also asked for some of my pasta sauce, and homemade meatballs.  :-)

    I love my daughter  but today I just want to CRY

Thank you ! ! !  So today she should find out about the "House" she is going to look for an apartment also as another option in case the "House " rental falls apart !

Sue~ I love the extra hug story, brought tears to my eyes. Things will work out for her and with your relationship. It will grow as she realizes all the sacrifices you and your husband have made as parents for her.
