I have had to go outside with my dogs every single time they went for the last 31 years- up until 3 years ago, I did not have a fenced yard. My dream was to have one! But now that I do, I have my wonderful crazy Jackdoodle who has fear issues and will not go out into the yard without me. Fortunately, I have a mud room with access to the yard, where I keep boots, coat, etc. I have learned to appreciate the beauty of the moonlight on the snow and the quiet of a starry winter night...blizzards, not so much-LOL!

Is anyone's doodle afraid of the dark, Willson does not like to go out at night, so lately I have been taking him out before bed, but I need to stop that because winter is coming to WI very soon any suggestions

I think he's still growing, but probably not too much more, at least not like Yankee!

My medium doodle (dad is a minature poodle, mom is an english golden) weighed in at 50 lbs exactly on his 8 month birthday. Does anyone remember how much their dood grew from 8 months to a year? I'm thinking he should be done, but something tells me, he's not!!!

Oh my, if we go by the size of the feet then I think I have a bear cub and not a doodle....he does well with his training and I am happy about that..as I think Ozzy will be one of the bigger doodles..JUST MORE TO LOVE

Jonah wavers from 96-102#'s depending on his appetite! I got him at 4mo and he weighed @39#. He is my sweet moose!! My vet had said about 80#. Now the vet says he's a little heavy. I think he just didn't want to be wrong.....

Welcome! It's funny how everyone guesses the weight of a doodle. They guessed mine would be about 60 pounds and he weighs in at 92 pounds! His dad was a standard poodle too. I guess the dead giveaway was the size of my puppy's feet when he was young and then he grew into them!
