Just want to let you know the Romp will be in Ft. Lauderdale, at the Happy Tails
Dog Park (Seminole Park) off Peters Road. You can find more info by going to
meetup.com and under the Topic column put in Doodle Dog Club of South Florida. Sorry we will be away for this romp, hope you go, it is always fun.

Hi Ann & Dudley!! Welcome to the FL Doodles group!!! I see you are in Hollywood! There are several folks here in the group from the East Coast near Ft Lauderdale & Miami, and I'm sure they'll be reaching out to you! Look for Sally, Ellen, & Nicole in the comments below! I know they have a "romp" planned on Oct 25 at the Aventura Dog Park (look for notes below by"Ellen aka BeauBeau's Mom").
Jack and I live over on the West coast near Ft Myers and don't really make it over there...
Anyway, WELCOME!!!! Can't wait to see pictures of Dudley!!!!

We just got our 7 month old doodle a week ago. Would love to join you sometime at the dog park. Also, I want to take him to obedience classes. Where did you take yours?

Hi Nicole and Margo! Yes, we expect to be at the romp on the 25th. Also, a few of us get together every evening at the Aventura Dog Park. I think they just started closing earlier, so probably about 5 or 5:30 PM. It's right by the racetrack at 213th Street and Biscayne Blvd. If you are coming south from Ft. Lauderdale on 95, exit at Ives Dairy Rd. (203rd St.). Go east to Biscayne and go north (left)to 213th, make a right onto 213th,(you'll see the racetrack on your left) and go east about half a mile. You'll see the dogpark on your left. You need to make a U-turn to enter....it's one of those divided streets. You usually need a card to enter the park, (supposed to be for only Aventura residents), but if you let me know when you'd like to join us, I'll make sure to keep an eye out for you and Margo to let you in. Doodles are very beloved in this park, and someone would surely let you in anyway, but better safe than sorry the first time!

The "Doodle-Dog" Club of S. Fla will be having a "Romp" Oct. 25th at 10.00 a.m. They can be located at Meetup.com if you are interested. The Romp will be in Ft. Lauderdale. The details can be found at Doodle Dog Club of S. Fla.. Sorry, we will not be at this romp, it would have been fun to meet you. Hope you are enjoying Florida.

Thanks for your response, Sheri. I will look for Ellen to find local events so Margo can get out and meet her fellow South Florida doodles!
