Subject: NOR CAL DOODLE FEST 2013
Greetings to all, and I can tell everyone that we are looking forward to Saturday July 13th (11AM-3PM) I first want to thank Coyote Point Yacht Club for allowing us to use the Club at no cost. It is appreciated.
Please let me know how many people and how many dogs you will be bringing with you. Feel free to REPLY TO ALL when responding so everyone will be kept in the loop.
The plan is to gather at 11AM and we have the use of a very large room on the lower level of the Club as well as a VERY Large fenced in rear yard. The Club does have an elevator and is ADA compliant. We are planning to have several small wading pools so bring a towel to dry you Doodle off.
Rather than try to arrange lunch, we thought that everyone can bring their own "picnic" lunch and we will provide bottled waters and sodas. This way no one is stuck in front of a BBQ and missing the fun.
The Yacht Club is located in Coyote Point County Park at 1820 Coyote Point Drive, San Mateo. The Park has a No Dog policy and a $6.00 per car entry fee.
~~~~~~~~BE SURE TO TELL THE RANGER AT THE GATE YOU ARE GOING TO AN ACTIVITY AT THE YACHT CLUB, AND THE FEE WILL BE WAIVED! And they wont hassle you about your dogs!~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
It will be a hoot to see all the Dogs, and to get to know the others that are drawn together by these wonderful creatures
The Park is located Just East of Highway 101, 5 minutes South of SFO on the San Francisco Peninsula.
Directions:
From the North - exit 101 at Poplar Avenue. Continue West to the first stop light,N. Humboldt St.
Turn Right onto N Humboldt and proceed to Peninsula Avenue. Right onto Peninsula Ave, stay in Rt lane. Go straight through 2 stop lights, golf course on the right. Proceed to Entrance Gate , once through keep bearing to the right, following the agolf Course until you see a Large Building straight ahead of you. This is the Yacht Club, park in the lot on the South side of the building and enter up several steps. The door will be open. We will be on the first level in the Regatta Room.
From the South - exit 101 at Peninsula Avenue. Turn Right at the light and get into the left lane. Turn left at the traffic light (T intersection) onto Coyote Point Drive. Proceed to Entrance Gate , once through keep bearing to the right, following the agolf Course until you see a Large Building straight ahead of you. This is the Yacht Club, park in the lot on the South side of the building and enter up several steps. The door will be open. We will be on the first level in the Regatta Room.
Any questions or concerns, please llet me know either by email or phone.
See you on the 13th.
Jacqui...where is the exact location of the romp in San Mateo and what time this Saturday? We will go if I have info.
When is the meet, My Theo got his last shots today , i am not sure if i have to wait for few days before i can take him out?
Katrine, Oh, I like that much better! We are in Orinda ~ where are you?
Butters doesn't have all her shots yet so no doodle romps for now. Looking forward to the next one!
Ha! Vicky, we call it the 'far east bay' :)
That's a little too far for us ~ we are in the 'east' East Bay.
Hi Everyone- Is anyone aware of or going to a Doodle Romp tomorrow (July 13) at the Coyote Club in San Mateo?
Thanks Lynda, I just discovered the group yesterday!
