I am sorry to miss the doodle romp tomorrow, but mommy and I moved to Boulder, CO February. I am sure there will be loads and loads of doodles romping in the surf and sand. Woof, woof, woof! Have an awesome time everyone! If anyone comes to Boulder, please let s know!

Carla, thank you for the information re: the Edgemere Cottages. We made reservations at another place before I read your post. We like going to Carmel from time to time, so perhaps next time we will stay there. Sounds like a nice place. Hope to see you on March 17th.

Oh man...Zoey LOVES Carmel Beach. I have to work the night of the 16th, so unfortunately I don't see us making the trek all the way down there that weekend. :( Bummer.

Actually Traz, Karen & Dale all of Carmel is very dog friendly. I don't have any recommendations because we live so close, but Carla is very experienced. Bring a long leash, but Traz will probably be off it in no time. Carmel is truly a dog beach. Come to the bottom of 9th St. for photos at 10:30. See you there.

Karen..we have stayed at edgemere cottages with our 2 dogs. It's a block from the beach! They have fantastic breakfasts. We stayed in their Devon cottage which is right off the garage. It was ideal for us. Plus it had a small kitchenette

Lynda, we would love to romp with you and the other doodles at Carmel Beach. Can you recommend any pet friendly hotels in the area, walking distance to the beach? Traz's recall is not really good, so we might have to romp with a long leash. It will be our first romp. Sounds like fun :-)

Romp notice! We will be having a doodle romp on Sunday, March 17th (St. Patrick's Day) on Carmel Beach. I will be taking photos at the bench at the bottom of 9th Street at 10:30 and romping at 11:00. Join us if you can.
