How about the 24th, Karan? That is the long Memorial Day weekend, but May 24th is also Hondo's birthday. We could have a Hondo's birthday Doodle Romp. Same place on Carmel Beach. Are there some of you that the Memorial Day weekend will not be available?

May 16th works great for us. We just got back from Carmel Beach today. Copper loved it despite the strong winds. Looking forward to meeting other doodle owners!

The next Saturday, May 23, would be better for us, as I am having surgery on May 6. The doctor said no using my arm for 2 weeks...

How about May 16th? Would that work for most of you? We could make it at 2:00 p.m. on Carmel Beach at the end of 12th Street. Then if anyone wants to camp, they could do it on Friday or Saturday night. Hotels are not a problem right now because the tourist industry is not very busy and the big events (the Sea Otter Classic bike races and the Big Sur Marathon) will be over. What you think?

Buster and I also love Monterey, Carmel area. Let me know the date!
A Saturday would be nice...I could then spend the night and go home Sunday.

Nick and I LOVE Carmel/Monterey/Pacific Grove and will definitely come if the dates are right - I am having Carpel-tunnel surgery on May 6, so later in the month would be better for us...
BTW, I can recommend several motels in the area that love dogs.
