Comment by Lynda Kamrath on June 26, 2014 at 3:29pm: This year Poodle Day in Carmel is on Sept. 27. Poodles and poodle mixes are welcome. I think there is a Smilebox on my page of the one last year. They have the parade in the morning at the Barnyard and then a beach play day on Carmel Beach in the afternoon. I always take photos. It is one of my favorite activities.

Comment by Vicky & Cassidy on May 6, 2014 at 2:27pm: Leslie Kurnick ~ Take a look at the S.F. Doodle Group. We meet up regularly at either Crissy Field or Fort Funston (both being off-leash dog beaches). Ruby will be fine off-leash, and will have so much fun she won't WANT to run off.

My husband is home with her during the day and we can take her just about anywhere on the weekends. We need to start working on "off leash" recall. Let me know if anyone wants to meet up!

Is this group active and if so can you please let me know how to join? Curious on other SBL and their growth patterns and adult size. Also have a few other specific questions.... Any other SBL owners out there?

Comment by michele, puddy & milo on April 18, 2014 at 12:21pm: Lynda - by the way - Zeppo looks like my Puddy to me. Look on my page, I think there is a pic of him with really short hair. He is about 26lbs. Puddy was from a shelter and was also picked up on the streets at about 5 or 6 months old. Check him out, I think he and Zep might be twins once that hair fills out!
