It's out. I saw somebody buy a kids plastic pool last weekend. I can't remember where, I think Walmart or Target. I was in walmart yesterday and they have all the "other" summer stuff out...floaties, diving sticks etc.

I have a story....last year I was looking for a kiddie pool and they were always out. I asked the guy about it and he said "oh those darn dog owners are always buying up all of the kids pools" I said "Ya, I'm one of those dog owners" He just smiled and said nothing else.

Good luck, don't wait grab one if you see it.

Hi all! Does anyone remember when Walmart and all the other stores start selling the summer kiddie pools?? (The hard plastic kind, not the inflatable ones.) I want to get a kiddie pool for Cricket to splish-splash in, but I can't remember when the summer stuff comes out. Thanks! :)

Yes, it is more of a park than a dog park. It is completely open but very distant from traffic.

I'd like to come to the Doodle Romp on April 11th but Daisy is still a puppy and I don't know if I want to go to a place that is completely open. Is it all open area? I can't tell by the website.

It looks like the April 18th romp is enclosed but we can't go that weekend.

Pt Isabel is a fabulous dog park in the East Bay. Named one of the best in the US. You can google Point Isabel to get the info. Unfortunately we can't change the Hellyer date as fliers are out for the Pt Isabel romp on the 11th.

Oooh! April 18th is the same weekend as the Sea Otter Classic. I don't think my husband is racing that day, and if not he may consent to come to a doodle romp. Otherwise, I may find a friend who wants to come with me. Maybe Apr. 11 would be a better date.

Super. I have Hellyer on my calendar for April 18th. That was one of the locations for the romp last year and is a very nice (and easy to find) location. Where is Pt. Isabel? Never heard of it.

Yes, we are getting ready to send out announcements. There will be one on April 11 at Pt Isabel and one on Apri. 18 at Hellyer Dog Park in San Jose. Waiting to hear from the park authorities.

My husband found a website in the SF Chron today (top website of the day)!! called www.woofreport.com
It has local happenings and other things. Check it out.
