Usually the romps are in April. Last year there was one in San Jose and another in San Mateo (a week apart). I know there was a problem with the one in San Mateo because they did not like us taking up the small dog park just for doodles. So, we may be seeking another site this time. I'll keep eneryone posted if I hear anything.

Oh yeah. Wasn't it great! Lucca was ecstatic. He's been cooped up with the rain. Does anyone know when the romps are in the bay area? Is there a website?

Hey Ester - Welcome to Nor Cal group. We are a little south of San Jose in rural Monterey County. We do our own grooming, but keep tuned in for the doodle romps coming up in April. You can meet lots of other doodle owners there and they can give you some grooming clues.

Oh yeah, please do come down here for a romp at the beach. I don't know about where you are, but it has been in the high 70s this week here. Beautiful weather, but I'll bet the rain should follow.

We are in Belmont. We usually go to play at the Redwood Shores dog Park. They have a small dog part that you can start Lucca in.
