I don't have a convertible anymore. But Nimbus loves to surf out the window. His hair goes flying. It's so cute!

We don't have a convertible but we do have a boat and Sassparilla loves to get in the back, close her eyes and raise her nose to the sky. She loves the wind in her face. In the car she freaks out until the window is down so she can do the same. Like mom she loves fresh air! Lol

Enzo has her own backpack. As a puppy, we had food , her water bottle and treats and a toy or two, to keep her busy, if we went to lunch and of coyrse, poo bags. Now that she is one, her water, treats and poo bags. I swear, it's like having a toddler again!
She rides in both of our convertibles all the time. I would suggest, the first time, have someone with you. It's not the eyes, but more the wind noise. It took Enzo about 15 seconds to figure she loves it! ;)

Yes, our wacky doodle often rides with us in our convertible. However, he has a tether. He usually just lies down in the back seat until we stop.

Has anyone taken your doodle in a convertible? Would the wind bother the eyes?

Helga, thank you. Carpooling would be fun.

It reminds me of the question I wanted to ask: what do you take with you on day trips? Do you use the belt that plugs into the seat belt receptacles, or do you travel with a crate? What have you found indispensable when traveling? I've taken Ruffie for a few short trips already ... what a good laid-back boy! I put a large adult bed pad down on the seat.

I have an Astro Van, which was perfect for transporting harps, and now is good for transporting a larger dog with supplies.

Suzy....if I didn't know better, I'd swear you got into my computer and stole a photo of Maggie sleeping on my bed!!!!  That is freaky!  Identical!

Suzy, they are not always on Sundays. We could carpool.
