Hi Everybody,
Helga Kaltenbrunner invited me to join your group, telling me she would love me to come to LA and give a group grooming workshop. I just e-mailed her all the information, but who else would love to learn how to groom your Doodle professionally in 1 day? Including all the professional grooming equipment you need, selected especially for Doodle coats? xxx
Praying for the best outcome. ((( ))))
Our prayer: Dear God please help sweet 'life of the party' Latka and his best friend Al in the difficult and emotional time they are experiencing now. We could use a miracle here.
Oh, Al, I am so sorry. I pray for a miracle recovery for Latka.
Latka remains very seriously ill. His immune system is attacking his body. We are trying to keep him going, but preparing ourselves for life without the life of the party.
Gwen - When I re-read my post, I didn't mean YOU you (in thinking of fostering), I meant anyone in that you. :-}
Gwen, Maggie is an excellent example of the change. Clancy is another. Fostering gives one the chance to do this over and over. Fostering is a lot of hard work and not for everyone, but I am hoping my plea will find one or two people who hadn't thought of it before and want to give it a shot. When I called to check on the dog in the shelter today, they told me it had been adopted this morning. I am so thankful that this wasn't a case where a perfectly wonderful dog was euthanized. Here again is the article if you are thinking of fostering:

And here is the application:
I wish I had the time and space to be a foster. I adopted Maggie in July and it has been an absolute match made in heaven for Kona and my little house. They are truly hearts wrapped in fur! This is what Maggie looked like at the shelter:
And this is what she looked like with Santa a few months later. I love my happy girl!
