Hi Everyone,  I have started a new group called Treasure Coast Doodles for people who live in and around the Treasure Coast are in Florida and want to attend beach and play romps along with attending events.  All are welcome.  We attended the Humane Society of the Treasure Coasts Mutt March last Saturday and had fun.  One member Sammy got his CGC at the event.  Our first beach romp is scheduled for 11/16 at Walton Rocks Beach.  Hope to see some of you at the event. :)

Hi Everyone,

I am a certified Dog trainer along with being a Real Estate Agent here in Florida.  Mya and I along with Kasey my nondoodle rescue have moved to Port St. Lucie about a year ago and have finally got settled in and are looking to do romps.  It has been a while and we miss them.  We were very active back in New Jersey with the Jersey Doodle group and miss our romping friends.  So if anyone would like to romp with us please contact us so we can make new friends and have fun.

Canine Splash this weekend!
The dog days of summer may be long gone, but you can still pamper your pooches during the lingering heat of a South Florida fall by letting them frolic at two water parks on dogs-only days. One of Broward County Parks and Recreation’s most popular programs for the past dozen years, the K9 Water Festivals, returns this year with three weekend events in October and another in November.

The series kicks off on October 5 and 6 at Castaway Island at T.Y. Park in Hollywood. Splash Adventure at Quiet Waters Park in Deerfield Beach follows and at CB Smith.

Admission is $5 per dog per 50-minute session, with sessions beginning on the hour from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Only dogs weighing 25 pounds or less will be permitted for the final session of each day. Donations of dog and cat food, treats, blankets, and toys will be accepted on behalf of the homeless animals at Broward County shelters.

Broward County Animal Care and Adoption will also be on site with dogs available for adoption.

A few rules apply: All dogs must be off leash when inside the facility and must be sociable and well behaved. Proof of current rabies vaccination and county license tag are required. Other than lifeguards, no humans will be allowed inside the water playgrounds. Finally, dogs are limited to no more than two sessions per day, and dogs must be at least 4 months of age to participate.

For more information, call the park of your choice: Quiet Waters Park at 954-357-5100, or T.Y. Park at 954-357-8811. The parks’ regular weekend and holiday gate entrance fee of $1.50/person (children 5 and under free) will be in effect for these events.

Doodle Romp tomorrow, Sunday Sept; 22 at 3 PM, weather permitting.  If you are traveling from far away, call the park first just to make sure they are open, if the weather is threatening

Hi,

I'm in Naples for the next couple of months and am hoping that some of you are nearby and interested in getting together with our dogs.  If you are in the area and know of a fenced-in place for our dogs to play, please let me know.  I have two labradoodles, Wally (six-years old) and Charlotte (eight-months old).  They are both super friendly, and I am, too!
